SMART START is a small state of Maine licensed child care facility, accepting children ages 2 years until 6 years old.  Located conveniently on Route 115 near the intersection of Route 302,  the center offers a child-centered curriculum that focuses on each child as an individual, while teaching the social and academic skills necessary for primary school readiness.  We have two floors of space available with centers designed for dramatic play, science, math, reading, writing, blocks, music and art.  A large, fenced-in outdoor playground allows for free play in a healthy environment.  Lunch is provided along with two snacks, juice and milk.

The center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.  Fees are $155 per week for full-time care.  Part time care is available for $32 per day with a consistent weekly three- day schedule. 

Pat Magno and Marie Armentino have years of education and experience in early child development and are all CPR and First Aid trained.
